Book Review: Life of Pi

Life of Pi is a book by Yann Martel. Through the story, the Indian writer Yann taught me different lessons. The most important thought is that she tries to define society. How a society works? She teaches how society is important to human beings. Wild lifestyles have unexpected threats. Every animal in the wild tries to control its habits by controlling the environment. The traits of dominance are the main force to survive in the wild.

In society, individuals try to control every aspect of life in coordination with others. We depend on others in every term except the field in which we are experts. Even animals in zoos like society get medical facilities regular food and a limited space and environment. The animals in the wild don't have these things.

However, as a part of the story, the lead character was introduced to all religions, which I feel, is unrelated to the character's life. Religion is an undesirable aspect of life which have been forced on society. Someone may say, that religion is the source of inspiration, positivity and energy. But the scientific reasoning says that for energy we need food and to be positive and consistent our habits are responsible. If we improve our habits positivity will automatically follow us.

Overall the narration is good the story and message are strong. It is worth reading and is best for English learners.
